In fact, in terms of total unique visitors, 123Greetings.com is among the top 250 properties on the Internet. A countdown widget for MySpace users to decorate their profiles and celebrate Valentine’s Day in style.

New York, NY, January 16, 2008—123Greetings announces the launch of a countdown widget to celebrate Valentine’s Day. As more and more Americans post profiles on MySpace, people are looking for ways to make their online identities more dynamic.

“MySpace still owns 80% of the social network sphere in the United States. Our Valentine’s Day Countdown widget lets visitors to MySpace profiles celebrate the day by decorating a valentine with lace, glitter and crystals”, said Jeanne Heydecker, Marketing Group Leader for 123Greetings.

The Valentine widget is one of the many widgets to be launched under the Chockfull of Widgety Goodness™ widget collection from 123Greetings. The widgets are scheduled to appear for a variety of holidays and special occasions. They are easy to post by simply copying and pasting a snippet of code. They are available for many social networks and can be found on most popular widget galleries.

Ms. Heydecker went on to say, “Our widgets are essentially online toys for entertainment or for adorning a user’s personal space on the web. They help people express themselves on the web. Widgets are an extension to our more traditional free ecards.” For additional information on 123Greetings’ “Decorate a Valentine” Valentine’s Day widget, contact Jeanne Heydecker or visit http://www.123greetings.com/widgets/ . The widget is now available on the web site.

In many of the product review sites, we have been branded as offering overly sweet content and using too many dancing teddy bears in the cards. In 2008, we decided to come out of our traditional mold and make the cards look more appealing and less corny. One of our experiments with the Love section yielded some fabulous results. You can check out the following cards by clicking on the URLs listed below.

These cards will help you convey the words ”I Love You” to your significant other without sounding soppy:

Some more cards for the Miss You section:

These are only a few of the representative cards we are introducing on our site. Hope you like them. Post as many comments as you can. We are open to all kinds of suggestions.

This year 123Greetings is going to introduce quite a few changes in the Everyday cards. We are already in the process of revamping our Birthday section and put cards which reflect a Web2.0 approach in terms of designing, text and music. We are taking extra care to ensure that no user leaves the site without a smile on his/her face and sending a card, of course! The cards are bound to tickle the funny bone of users and we have put them up on our blog to save users the trouble of navigation. Some of the card URLs are listed below:

That was NOT all! The list will continue to grow and there will be new additions every day.
